Today marks exactly two months until the release of The Edge of Nowhere, and I’m just beside myself with joy and appreciation. New advance reviews are coming in, and it looks like readers are really enjoying it! I’m so incredibly thankful to Penner Publishing for believing in this story, and for the early reviewers who are enjoying it.
It’s a scary thing to send your book out into the world. I like to compare it to sending your first child off to college. You’ve done everything you can to prepare him, but now he has to fly on his own and you can only hope that those around him will be kind to him and treat him with care. The same is true of an author’s novel. Our books are like our children. We’ve nurtured them from infancy to adulthood, and they become almost living things to us. To receive positive reviews from early readers is an amazing feeling.
